Overwhelming could be considered an understatement for the way many new or second (or third or fourth) time parents feel upon the arrival of their baby.
Every baby and every family make up is different and there is no way to fully anticipate the change that the new arrival brings to your world.
The trouble often comes not in knowing that you need support or advice, but that you don’t know where, or who to turn to to get it.
This is where I step in.
I feel so strongly about new families finding their own voice and doing things the right way for them. I want mum's to be taken care of and partners to feel a valued part of the experience.
The support I offer is an unbiased, non-judgmental sounding board, to help you cut through the noise and find what works best for you. Sure, I can offer advice - but in my experience, your mamma instinct already knows what needs to be done, it's just a matter of recognising it amongst the intensity that is having a newborn baby!
If you feel like you need help - ASK. Whether it is through a service like mine or with your healthcare provider, it is essential that you get the care and support you need, so that you, your baby and your wider family can thrive.
